Making Easter baskets for your kids can be fun, but if you want to switch up the usual “chocolate bunny in a basket” routine, here are some ideas for a more unconventional Easter basket.
Edible Terrarium – Fill a mason jar with a layer of chocolate rocks, then edible grass, candy eggs and marshmallow bunnies or chicks.
Feathered Chick Easter Bucket – Spray-paint a bucket yellow and give it an adorable ducky face with construction paper and glue. You can even get features and glue little wings on, then fill it with the usual candy.
Glittered Fruit Box – You know those fruit boxes that berries come in? Transform these by blinging them out with glitter and ribbon, then fill it with smaller candies.
Egg Cartoon into Easter Basket – Recycle the egg cartons you used for your Easter eggs and fill with candy.
Adult Easter Box – Want to make a basket for your adult kids or hubby? Spray paint an old wooden crate and decorate it, then fill it with fun stuff like gift cards, wine, and of course, some chocolate.
